Needless to say, my heart is broken at the loss of my hero, George Jones. It’s an honor to have contributed to his amazing career with songs like “I DON’T NEED YOUR ROCKIN’ CHAIR” and “CHOICES”, among others.
I’m so proud of those achievements. But I’m more proud to have had the opportunity to call him my friend. In every way, he was a one of a kind and there’ll never be another George Jones!
BIG STARS TO APPEAR AT C of the C 2013
This annual event which is sponsored by the Billy Yates International Fan Club and hosted by Nashville singer/songwriter, Billy Yates, began nine years ago and has now evolved into what is considered by many to be the best Country Music show during the CMA Music Festival. With so many guests, it is by far one of the best entertainment values in Nashville that week. Artists will offer merchandise for sale during the show and a meet and greet with the artists will follow the evening’s entertainment.
This year's lineup promises to be one of the best yet. With several more artists to be announced, those already on board to perform include DARYLE SINGLETARY, T GRAHAM BROWN, BUDDY JEWELL, JOHN BERRY, JIMMY FORTUNE, LEONA WILLIAMS, RAY SCOTT, JULIE ROBERTS, ADAM GREGORY, LU LU ROMAN, SCOTT REEVES, EMILY REEVES, WYATT McCUBBIN, and EMILY BROOKE. Switzerland's ROLF FRITSCHI will be one of the featured International artists.
The show this year will also feature a "Hit Songwriter's in the Round" segment that will include mega-hit wirters, BYRON HILL, PAT ALGER, and MIKE DEKLE.
